Piece of Cake: Merge & Bake

Piece of Cake takes a few seconds to learn: everything is done by clicking and dragging. Here is the full loop.

1. Merge two identical items: drag one item onto a matching one and they combine into the next tier — two pieces of toast become toast with an egg, two of those become something better still.
2. Use the producers: tap the toast pan, the coffee machine, the waffle iron or the juicer to spawn fresh base items on the table. Producers have a charge that refills over time.
3. Watch your energy: tapping producers costs energy. It regenerates on its own, and you can top it up with rewards — there is no timer, so it is fine to walk away and come back.
4. Serve the customers: visitors show what they want in a speech bubble above their head. Drag the finished dish onto the customer to complete the order and get paid.
5. Keep the board clear: the table has limited cells. Merge early rather than hoarding, and sell or use up leftovers so you always have room for new items.
6. Spend the money on repairs: money goes into renovation tasks — furniture, decor, equipment, whole rooms. Every completed task moves the café forward visually.
7. Follow the story: finished renovations open new chapters, new characters and new areas of the mansion — 21 locations by the end.
8. Take the bonus tasks: daily missions and special orders give extra coins and boosters that speed up producers and merges.

Piece of Cake: Merge & Bake is a cozy merge game about bringing a forgotten café back to life. Emily has just lost her job when a letter arrives: her grandfather has left her his old café in a countryside mansion. What she finds is a wreck — cracked tiles, a dead coffee machine, empty display cases — and a stack of notes hinting at a family story nobody ever told her.

The game runs on two loops that feed each other. On the cooking table you merge matching items: click the toast pan to produce toast, drag two pieces of toast together to get toast with a sunny-side-up egg, and keep merging upward into salami sandwiches, waffles, pastries, cakes, lemonade and coffee. Customers walk in with orders shown in speech bubbles, you serve them what they asked for, and the money goes straight into the renovation — new furniture, a repaired counter, a working coffee machine, a restored dining room.

There is no timer and no losing. Actions cost energy that refills on its own, so the game moves at the pace you set: play a few merges on a break, or work through a whole chapter of the story in one sitting. As the café fills up again you unlock new rooms and areas — 21 locations in total — each with its own look, its own equipment and its own piece of the mystery Emily's grandfather left behind.
